Born and raised in the Albany area, Scarlett Wade enjoys caring for her home-town patients as an Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner (ARNP). She received her nursing degree from Abraham Baldwin Technical College in 2009. She worked as a Registered Nurse in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hosptial for the following six years.
Soon after graduating from nursing school, Scarlett realized that she wanted to advance her education to become a nurse practitioner. Dedicated to achieving her goal, she obtained her nurse practitioner degree in 2015 from the University of Alabama in Birmingham. Scarlett feels blessed to be a part of the medical team at Southwest Georgia Obstetrics and Gynecology. She enjoys working in women’s health and focuses on preventative care to promote healthy lifestyles.
Scarlett is married to Joseph Wade, and they welcomed their first born child, Sanders, in December of 2015. Scarlett enjoys being a mom and spending time with family and friends. She also loves to travel and spend time outdoors.
